Progress of Ensworth’s new natatorium is coming along “swimmingly.” The high school’s new swimming complex is well underway – the pool concrete is being poured and the walls are getting close to the top. Steel roof trusses will be erected in the next month then the roofing will start.
Please enable Javascript and Flash to view this Flash video.The new one-story natatorium will feature a 50 meter competition pool with a one-meter diving springboard , a smaller teaching pool, two large state-of-the-art scoreboards, locker rooms, concessions, a main lobby, student lobby, and a mezzanine area for spectator seating. Expansive windows will bring in lots of natural light around both pools. Outdoor terraces located on both levels will provide A+ views of both football games and the entire campus.
