Today’s Calais Regional Hospital is a one-story facility that reflects the local architecture through the use of hardiplank siding, shingles and wood trusses. The critical access facility includes a twenty-five-bed patient care unit and OB department with two LDRP rooms, as well as emergency, radiology, surgery and outpatient departments.
