While not a LEED project we did pursue “Green” design concepts for the Johnston Medical Center – Clayton Outpatient Facility in Clayton, NC. The most visible “Green” design concept is the bioswales located in the main parking of the facility. These bioswales help recharge stormwater back into the site and reduces the need to create large detention ponds and a large infrastructure of underground pipes.
